Audrey Witteborg
Educator, Curriculum Developer, Consultant, and Instructional Expert
About me
I have been an educator for over 20 years and have learned a lot about myself and how children learn. Just when I think I have seen everything in education, I discover or experience something new! I love learning new ways to teach, new strategies to help my students, and helping other educators be better practitioners! I have written curriculum, founded a preschool, mentored teachers, and taught children ages 3 to 13. I am trained in diverse literacy programs, social-emotional development, and effective instructional practices. Throughout my career, I have taught in both public and private schools in the Sacramento area, and even taught summer school in Austin, Texas. I look forward to finding new ways to positively impact educational systems.

It’s my absolute pleasure to recommend Audrey Witteborg for a teaching position. I thoroughly enjoyed my time working with Audrey, and came to know her as a truly valuable asset to absolutely any team. She is honest, dependable, and incredibly hard-working. Beyond that, she has a soft heart towards the kids she teaches. Along with her undeniable talent, Audrey has always been an absolute joy to work with. She is a true team player, and always manages to foster positive discussions and bring the best out of other employees. As a dedicated and knowledgeable teacher and an all-around great person, I know that she will be a beneficial addition to your school. -Anita Carapiet, Teacher, Golden Empire Elementary

“When we decided to begin a preschool program I chose Audrey to help build the
preschool from the “ground up”. She gathered and organized the necessary information to get us licensed by the State of California. Audrey was diligent and worked tirelessly to create a well-designed, effective preschool program. She recruited, trained and managed all of the Preschool employees. She always acted with professionalism and had a wonderful rapport with the staff, students, and families at St. John the Evangelist.
Audrey is bright, conscientious, and dedicated to her profession. She created the
curriculum for the preschool and was passionate about providing a quality education for the children. She is more than capable of effectively managing a classroom. Audrey held the position of Art Docent Coordinator and, as such, trained parents to teach the art curriculum in every grade, TK-8. She also taught art in grades TK – 6 and related well with the students of all ages. Audrey was someone I could always count on to go “above and beyond” and help out wherever and whenever she was needed. ” Nancy Conroy, St. John the Evangelist School
